Disney+ Launching November 12th in Canada

On August 19th, D23 announced that the new Disney+ streaming service will launch in Canada ($8.99 per month/$89.99 per year), the Netherlands (€6.99 per month/€69.99 per year), and the United States ($8.99 per month) on November 12th, followed by Australia ($8.99 per month/$89.99 per year) and New Zealand ($9.99 per month/$99.99 per year) one week later on November 19th.


According to the announcement, US residents can enroll in a “Founders Circle with a $23 discount per year with 3-year commitment, along with an exclusive Disney pin if they attend D23 in person. For D23 members not attending the convention, enrollment is available online from August 26th through September 2nd.


With access to Disney, Pixar, National Geographic, Lucasfilm, Marvel, and Fox movies, and new Disney+ only series, this is going to be a popular new streaming service with a low starting price.


Original programming will include The Mandalorian, a docuseries on Walt Disney Imagineering, Magic of the Animal Kingdom (a show about how Disney Parks cares for animals at Walt Disney World),
