Disney PhotoPass and Memory Maker

Disney’s PhotoPass Cast Members take photographs and short videos using a high-quality camera at various locations in each theme park.  Some PhotoPass Cast Members also take “Magic Shots” that include special images videos taken of your family that include music (videos only) and characters added.  All of the images and videos taken appear shortly (a few minutes to a few days) in your MyDisney Experience app account.

Under the PhotoPass program guests can view their images online and can order copies of them on a per-image basis.

Guests wanting to take advantage of unlimited downloads of their PhotoPass photographs and videos can purchase a Memory Maker package which gives them access to all images and videos taken of them up to 45 days from the date taken.

Using PhotoPass and Memory Maker

To use PhotoPass / Memory Maker, find a photographer wearing a PhotoPass vest and ask them to take a photo for you.  Some photographers ask that you show your MagicBand prior to the photo for scanning while others wait until afterwards.  The PhotoPass cast member will direct you as to when to let them scan your MagicBand. 

Costs

Annual Passholders are able to take advantage of the PhotoPass service free of charge, with a Memory Maker package included in their passholder package price.

For PhotoPass users, the cost is based on the photographs / products with your photo you order.

The best deal for purchasing Memory Maker is $169 USD advance purchase option, which increases to $199 if you wait until you arrive to purchase it.
