DISNEY'S POP CENTURY RESORT

Disney’s Pop Century Resort is located near the ESPN Wide World of Sports area of the resort property.  This value resort has 2880 rooms divided into themed buildings representing the latter half of the 20th century (1950s through 1990s) and was supposed to be part of a larger resort area covering the entire century (the first half of the century complex was mothballed after 9/11 and was ultimately transformed into Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.

In the main lobby building (Classic Hall), guests can shop at the Everything Pop! store, which is also home to parcel pick-ups and the Everything Pop! Food Court for quick service dining.

There are 2 arcades (currently closed), 3 pools at the resort and a jogging trail around Hourglass Lake, the lake that separates the resort from Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.  In the centre of the lake is the Generation Gap Bridge where the Disney Skyliner station transports guests along the most scenic part of the line from the resort to the Caribbean Beach hub station.

In addition to Disney Skyliner transportation, Disney Transport buses operate to all theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs.  EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios buses run less frequently due to the availability of the Disney Skyliner from the resort.
