Future World is the Walt Disney company version of Walt's original concept of an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (EPCOT).
Home to the park's geodesic sphere icon (Spaceship Earth), it's the entrance to the park that most guests are familiar with (the other being the International Gateway at World Showcase).

Over the next few years, much of Future World will be under construction, with the addition of many of the new attractions being built in this section of the park, including Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, Play Pavilion, Moana Journey of Water, and new dining and shopping options.
